Construction Opportunities with Rural Neighborhoods

Rural Neighborhoods is seeking contractors to complete renovations of its units as well as those of qualifying homeowners in Collier County. Check out both categories below.

Current Projects


We’ve partnered with Collier County Community and Human Services to offer their Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program. Under this program, Collier County homeowners may apply for up to $50,000 to repair health, safety and weatherization issues.  To learn more about the program or obtain an application, contact Wendy Klopf of Collier County at 239-252-2901.  Financed by Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) and Collier County Community and Human Services Division. Foster Home & AC – Rehab in Naples involving new impact sliders, new flooring, new AC and electrical repairs (see Scope of Work – Home). Bid due date for home is extended to November 18.

Rural Neighborhoods is re-bidding its RPS for Architectural Services to design its senior housing development in unincorporated Golden Gate, Florida. The deadline is Monday, August 5, 2024 at 2pm EST.

The project is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Department of Treasury, and the Collier County Community and Human Services Division. Information about the project and directions for submitting a proposal are provided below.

Request for Professional Services Package

Rural Neighborhoods/Oak Marsh, LLC seeks bids to improve parking drainage at its Sanders Pines complex in Immokalee.  The Bid Package include design specifications can be downloaded below.  Sealed bids are due by 2 pm on February 16th, 2023.  A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2 pm on February 1.

The project is financed by Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) and Collier County Community and Human Services Division.

Rural Neighborhoods is re-bidding its community center at the Esperanza Place complex in Immokalee.  The Bid Package and revised Construction Plans can be downloaded below.  The Structural plans were value engineered to reduce costs.  Sealed bids are required by 2 pm on March 24, 2022.   See the Invitation to Bid in the Bid Package for full details on submitting a bid. 

This project is financed in part by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Collier County Community and Human Services Division using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.  Federal regulations during construction will be enforced, including Davis Bacon and Related Acts for wage rates.
